Industrial air pollution control systems in Vietnam
Reliable air pollution control begins with source data: airflow, pollutant composition, temperature, humidity, production cycles and installation constraints.
Engineering data before technology selection
A field survey establishes actual airflow, concentration, particle properties, corrosion risks, capture points and available space. These inputs determine hood design, duct velocity, pressure loss and fan duty.
Common treatment technologies
Cyclones and bag filters address particulate streams. Wet scrubbers can absorb or react with soluble contaminants. Activated carbon is frequently applied to odor and volatile organic compounds. Multi-stage systems may be required.
- Dust collection and baghouse filtration
- Wet scrubbing and chemical absorption
- Activated carbon adsorption for odor and VOC
Performance and maintainability
A practical design balances capture efficiency, treatment performance, energy use, safe access and lifecycle cost. Inspection, cleaning and media replacement must be considered from the beginning.
